About Me
I returned home to Central Ohio as Photograph and Paper Conservator at The Ohio State University Libraries after three years at the George Eastman Museum, the home of the founder of Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York. At the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas, I was part of an interdepartmental team that undertook a state-of-the-art expansion of the Carter’s photography vaults for long-term preservation of over 350,000 photographic objects. I developed an understanding and appreciation of a wide range of cultural items, ranging from scrapbooks and archival documents to one-of-a-kind fine art photographs during internships at the Smithsonian Institution Archives, The Better Image, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
